Terms, Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
1. Pre-Existing Curb Scrapes, Gouges & Outer Lip Damage
Customer acknowledges that automotive wheels are subject to severe road hazards including curb strikes, stone gouges, and parking abrasion. Heavy accumulation of road grime and brake dust frequently obscures existing rim edge gouges. Shop will photograph visible damage during initial inspection, and Customer agrees Shop is not liable for pre-existing curb rash revealed after wheel degreasing and iron decontamination.
2. Aftermarket Finishes, Powder Coat & Plasti-Dip Disclaimer
Shop utilizes pH-neutral and dedicated iron-dissolving wheel cleaners. Customer warrants that all wheels possess factory-original OEM finishes or professionally baked powder coating. Shop is not liable for flaking, chipping, or chemical discoloration on aftermarket painted, rattle-can coated, plasti-dipped, or repainted wheel surfaces with compromised clear coat adhesion.
3. Severe Brake Caliper Heat Etching & Micro-Pitting
High-performance and ceramic brake pads expel microscopic metallic iron particles that embed into hot alloy wheels, causing chemical micro-pitting and clear coat staining. Standard wheel decontamination dissolves surface iron deposits but cannot reverse permanent subsurface pitting or chemical burns caused by neglect prior to service.
4. TPMS Sensor Stems & Center Cap Corrosion
